The first trailer for 21 and Over had me seriously laughing out loud way too many times. It almost made it into my post for the top trailers of 2012. This second trailer is not as good as the first one, but it is still pretty good. It has a few new scenes that add to the drunkeness of Jeff Chang on his 21st birthday. One question: Why do they call him Jeff Chang and not just Jeff or Chang? Is this a new thing, calling someone by their first and last names?
As a woman in her mid-thirties, I am way too excited , but I will probably be let down. Still, I live in the hope that it will have me laughing so much there will be tears in my eyes.
The film stars Miles Teller (Project X), Justin Chon (The Twilight Saga), Skylar Astin, Sarah Wright, Francois Chau (the Dharma doctor from Lost). Jon Lucas and Scott Moore wrote and directed the film.
“Straight-A college student Jeff Chang has always done what’s expected of him. But when his two best friends Casey and Miller surprise him with a visit for his 21st birthday, he decides to do the unexpected for a change, even though his critical medical school interview is early the next morning. What was supposed to be one beer becomes one night of chaos, over indulgence and utter debauchery in this outrageous comedy.”
21 and Over is in theatres March 1, 2013.
