The FADER FORT Presented by Converse announced its official return to Austin’s SXSW Music Festival along with a few of the artists slated to perform. However, this popular event is shaking things up this year and ditching the RSVP for a new guest list only process.
In the past, fans could RSVP online for wristbands to the event regardless of whether they had a SXSW badge or official music wristband from the festival. Because of this and the event’s music lineup known for its big name surprises, it has quickly grown into one of the largest SXSW unofficial parties. This year, to help control the crowds and still keep the relaxed vibe of the event, FADER has announced it is guest list-only. Guests will receive a non-transferable invite via email.
While there’s no public RSVP, the best chance for the public to get on the invite list is to follower The Fader on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for chances to win their way in. For those not lucky enough to get an invite, The Fader Fort will stream performances live on TheFader.com as powered by Dell I Intel.
The FADER FORT is scheduled for March 18-21. More than 30 artists are expected to perform including Migos, Hudson Mohawke, Bleachers, Girlpool, Vince Staples, Passion Pit and more.
