You know you were dying to see Bradley Cooper in dreads, were you not? Now you can cross that off your list. Hit and Run is a new crime comedy about a guy (Dax Shepard) who entered the witness protection program after ratting out his fellow cohorts in his robbery gang. His friends come looking for him after they get out of jail, forcing him to fess up to his fiance (Kristen Bell) about his past. The film also stars Tom Arnold, Kristin Chenoweth, David Koechner, Michael Rosenbaum, Beau Bridges, and Joy Bryant. Dax Shepard wrote the screenplay and co-directed the film with David Palmer.
“From the producer of Wedding Crashers – written and directed by and starring comic talent Dax Shepard (NBC’s “Parenthood”) HIT AND RUN is the story of Charlie Bronson (Shepard), a nice guy with a questionable past who risks everything when he busts out of the witness protection program to deliver his fiancé (Kristen Bell) to Los Angeles to seize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Their road trip grows awkwardly complicated, when they are chased by the feds (led by Tom Arnold) … and increasingly dangerous, when Charlie’s former pals, a band of gangsters (led by Bradley Cooper), enter the fray.”
Hit and Run is in theatres August 24, 2012.
