Last night Paramount Studios took over the Alamo Drafthouse Mainstreet’s front window lobby to promote the release of Paranormal Activity 4. A room for each film was built, recreating famous scenes from the franchise. There was the bedroom with the girl hovering over the dude while he slept; two little girls playing Bloody Mary in a bathroom, a mother watching over her baby in a nursery, and a girl skyping in her bedroom. The whole setup was pretty cool and a nice little promotion for the flick. Hats, shirts, and posters were given out to people cruisin’ past the theater in the Power & Light District on their way to see George Lopez at The Midland. I don’t know which was more terrifying, the PA4 window displays or the fact that people still think George Lopez is funny.
